Search Delaware and Nevada 
in the 1940 Census now
As of this evening, Nevada and Delaware became Ancestry‘s first two fully-indexed states in the 1940 Census on Ancestry.com. This means you can search by name for a 1940 Nevada or Delaware resident  Right now.

Remember, while only Nevada and Delaware are fully-indexed today on Ancestry.com, you can still look through 1940 Census images on Ancestry.com. By tomorrow morning you’ll find every 1940 U. S. Census image, all 3.8 million of them, online.
